1. Board Rules:
a) No posting in the incorrect forum. Not Serious

2. Posts (Topics, Replies, and Polls) Rules:
a) No posting of (or links to) anything illegal, inappropriate, or indecent, including but not limited to: hacks, warez, pornography, scam websites, obscene material, nudity. Very Serious

c) No smiley spamming (unnecessary overuse of smilies - this will depend on the situation. More than three smileys next to each other gives power to moderator interpretation) Not Serious

3. Signatures and Avatars Rules:
a) The rules for posts apply to signatures and avatars as well.
b) Avatars must be no larger than 100 pixels by 100 pixels and with a max size of 64Kb. Not Serious
c) Other forums and alliances may not be linked to in signatures. Not Serious
d) Your signature must not artificially stretch each of your posts. Not Serious

5. Moderators

6. Interpretation, Powers, Conflict and Appeals
a) Interpretation of all rules is at the Moderator in question's discretion.
b) The Moderators have the right to suspend or monitor any member whilst obtaining consultation about their conduct, as long as their justification is satisfactory to the Moderation Manager.
c) If you would like to appeal against any sanctions, please post in the Appeals Forum. Your Appeal will be considered by the Moderator Manager. The Appeal must be made within 48 hours of the sanction for it to be valid.
d) In the case of conflict of interpretation of rules, exercise of powers, and levels of punishment, the following hierarchy is in effect.

Below you can see the penalty description for each broken rule:
Not Serious - This is not a serious offense, but is still breaking the forum rules. You will be given at the very least 2 verbal warnings before your Warning Level is increased.
Serious - This is quite a serious breach of the forum rules, and you will only get at most one verbal warning before you are given a Warning Level increase.
Very Serious - If you break one of these rules you will be suspended, and a further action can be taken against you by the Moderator Manager. If you cannot explain yourself, serious sanctions will be taken.
In the absence of the Moderation Manager, all such decisions are taken by the Admin.
Your WL total does decrease over time. If after about 1 month you have not broken any further rules, you will lose 1 WL.
When you reach 2 WL, you will be suspended for 2 days.
When you reach 3 WL, you will be suspended for 5 days, and your posts will be previewed by a Moderator for a month.
If you exceed 3 WL at one time, the Moderation Supervisor will decide on a further course of action.
